Auroral Sinter R&D Center
Auroral Sinter R&D Center is dedicated to developing new technologies in the field of powder metallurgy, including:
- New alloy materials.
- Non-destructive testing techniques.
- Image recognition and inspection technology.
- Quality analysis of blackening processes.
The development of these new technologies not only helps the company gain a competitive edge in the automotive and aerospace parts sectors but also provides the opportunity to become a pioneer in the transformation of Taiwan's metal processing industry. By becoming an industry model, Auroral Sinter can share its management and technical transformation experiences with peers.
In addition to developing new technologies, the center also assists with the digital transformation within the factory, including:
- Implementing MES and various management systems.
- Ensuring product traceability. Production data can be recorded accurately and in real-time. Through extensive data and analysis, potential issues can be identified, and correct strategies can be formulated, thereby improving production quality.
Starting in 2023, Auroral Sinter has actively shared its research results at academic conferences, with a particular focus on non-destructive testing techniques and green smart factory domains. The company participated in conferences at Chiba University in Japan in April 2023 and in Malaysia in October 2023, exchanging knowledge with academic and industry experts worldwide. In October 2024, Auroral Sinter plans to present three academic articles at the Powder Metallurgy Annual Conference in Yokohama, Japan, enhancing its exposure in both the industry and academia.
